Went To My Another Aunty House…….. At Maludam ( Or Something Like That )

I went to my Aunt ( father’s side ) at Maludam on Sunday. It was a little cute fishing village near a large river. We packed our stuff in the morning and had to endure a three hours drive to a jetty at Pusa. We waited that for a few minutes and my parents chatted with someone from the fishing village. Then, the fun part started. We got on to a boat which woobles slightly when we stood in it and then we were crossing the river and the wind was blowing in our face which is kinda cool although our hair was flying here and there. After 15 minutes, we reached Maludam. Then, we got on to a car that will take us to my Aunt house. We stayed there for a night. My cousins had a Playstation so we played lots of games. The Kampung was very nice and kinda special. Most of the people there are Malays and there are only five families of Chinese there. Oh, there are crabs everywhere too. And I saw a mudskipper that was as big as my shoe. My Aunt cooked some salted fish, paku, dong gua soup and shark skin ( yes, skin ). But I didn’t eat the shark skin though.

Kimberly’s Birthday ( Detailed Account * Steph’s Version* )

Yesterday, I went to Kimberly’s house to celebrate birthday. Grace’s birthday is on the same date as Kimberly’s but she can’t come. I think her family had some planning on her birthday too. Anyway, I arrived at Kim’s house at seven o’clock after calling her twice to ask about the whereabout of her house. Then, Pei Sian came along half an hour later and Samantha came at eight o’clock. Kim’s mom prepared some red coloured chicken ( I forgot the name ), some veggies, chicken soup and ordered some pizza ( Haiwaian and SuperSupreme ). Kim’s cousins ( Sarah, Joseph and etc. ) was there also and they were watching Disney ( Bob The Builder, I think ).

After dinner ( 2nd dinner ), Kim opened her presents ( Pei Sian’s Shirt Waste Basker, Mine’s Leaf Book Mark and Rabbit, Sam’s Necklace and Greeting/Birthday Card and Kim’s Uncle’s a Chinese Book and a Music CD.) Then, we chatted for a while. Samantha was wearing a mini skirt which looked kinda nice on her. Pei Sian’s hair looked much nicer, straighter and shinner. Kim is wearing a yellow shirt/blouse.

I almost forgot, after dinner, Kim’s mom took out the chocolate cake and put some candles on it. She said something about the bakery people spelling Kim’s name wrong, though I’m not sure. Then, Kim lighted the candles and someone switched off the lights. We sang the birthday song to Kim and Kim blew the candle though someone blew some of the candles off from the side.

Then, we went up to Kim’s bedroom upstairs. It was a fairly large, bigger than mine own. It was a kinda nice room, painted blue in colour. Kim showed us her earings, necklace and such things. Then, Jo and Sarah came in and Pei Sian and Samantha kept on tickling Joseph.

After we went down again. Unfornately, Pei Sian had to go home early. So, Kim, Sam and I played cards and Uno until eleven o’clock. Then, Samantha went home at evelen twenty. Then, I watched Kim chatting with someone called Kelvin and we annoyed him by showing things and figurines from Bleach and Pokemon. After that, Kim and I played a game with a swimming fish and Kim won . At half past eleven, I had to go home althought I don’t feel like going home. It was one of the best day I ever had this year. Kim’s mom and dad was very friendly and nice. It was really nice cause I get to see and talk with Kim, Sam and Pei Sian. Happy Birthday, Kimberly Anne * Possible * Ngu !!
